D-day was two months ago, A was very short, about 3 weeks when I found out and he ended it. Says it was only an EA and I can't find anything to prove otherwise (and believe me I have dug and dug), but doesn't really matter because he admitted it was leading to a PA. BUT, we were doing really good in recovery, have been going to counseling and things getting SO much better, then yesterday I stumbled onto a picture of the OW on WH's company website. I did not know what she looked like before and I know that this doesn't change anything, but it just makes it feel like day one again. It is not that she is any great and wonderful beauty or anything, just ordinary looking, but why is this hitting me so hard?

I had a feeling like that yesterday. I found a picture of me and my H at a company party of mine and it completely reminded me of everything because it was taken when the A was going on. I think little things like that can really trigger those feelings. I took the picture and tore it up. My own little way of moving forward I suppose.

I know! FWS will make a comment about something that happened during the same time as the A and I will just go right back to D-day and I kind of think that seeing this picture just made it more real to me. I was picturing him with this faceless person and now to have a face associated with all those painfull thoughts, just freaked me out a litte.

I run into pictures all the time of the OW. She just happened to be a really good friend of mine and our kids played together all the time. I tried to get rid of all the ones of her, but not of her son. I am a scrapbooking fiend so I run into that a lot. I totally hear ya about it freaking you out. We had been friends for about 6 years so there are a lot of memories to try to erase (remove).
