Well my mom and I have been training for 5 months now walking 10 to 14 miles on Saturdays. We raised a bunch of money for The American Stroke Association and now its time to do the real thing!!!! My first marathon in Phoenix! I am so excited.

I just noticed your picture, GORGEOUS!!!
My maternal grandma had quite a few strokes, all my life she was in a wheel chair, and couldn't speak.
I believe it was diabetic related, we are Native American, and it seems to be quite common.
