Feel free to add whatever other favorites you happen to have.

Favorite scripture (in my sig):

TestedDevotion - that's a great one. Over the last month, I've become quite fond of the entire book of 1st John. It's a great, concise and to the point blueprint (to me) of the Christian Life.

Brokenbird, thanks!

Favorite song: Gonna have to say "Held" by Natalie Grant

It spoke to my heart when all the stuff was hittin' the fan this summer.

Is it just me, or are there an awful lot of Christian songs lately that address feelings of dispair and/or depression?

Scaredmomof3,

Your song - "Hold Me Jesus" by Rich Mullins

He was a BRILLIANT songwriter. Died in a very tragic car accident about 8 years ago. One of my favorites that he wrote is "Elijah" ("When I go, I want to go out like Elijah...")

I've got no idea. I don't think I've heard a new(er) version of it on my local Christian radio station.
