Scaredmomof3,

Well, you didn't get the answer from TD because he's not the singer in the family. LOL He SHOULD know this one, as he's heard it quite a few times...and it's sung by another artist he likes as well. I believe the version to which you're referring is done by Rebecca St. James.

Sorry, TD...I know that you just HATE it when I know something that you don't. LMAO hehehehehe

Crystal

lmao, thanks crystal, I've never been good at keeping up with song titles and artists, I just listen to 'em. I do love that song though. All I ever listen to is Christian music. I almost typed out the radio station as that's what I usually say when I tell people what I like to listen to, then I thought maybe I shouldn't do that but I don't know 'cause it's like a nationwide station, does it matter.

I guess I should chime in with my favorites now, huh??

Favorite Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13 (I'm still searching for something like this on earth...does it REALLY exist???) I like this chapter so much that it was sung at our wedding. I do see quite a bit of irony in that.

Favorite song: There are SO many good ones from which to choose. I like "Who am I?" by Casting Crowns and "Follow Love" by FFH.

Favorite Food: Imperial Crab stuffed lobster from Vinny's Famous Seafood in Baltimore or a really good Greek salad.

Favorite Car: Something cute but fast! lol Nissan 350Z, BMW Z3, Toyota Celica (gets in by its "cute" factor, anyway)

Favorite Movie: The Sound of Music (an oldie but goodie)

Favorite Musician(s): I agree...WAY too many to name. Ditto to all of yours, TD...well, I'm not too much into Beethoven (lol). I'd add FFH and Caedmon's Call (which I'm sure was just an oversight, dear).

Favorite TV Show(s): "Boston Legal" and "Grey's Anatomy"

Favorite Snack Food: Freshly popped popcorn with REAL butter...but only if I'm the one doing the buttering. LOL

Favorite Sweet: Chocolate, of course...any way it's served

Scaredmomof3,

Ssssshhhh!!! Don't tell TD, but I didn't REALLY know the answer to that one. I Googled it. LOL Of course, when I saw the answer, I could just hear her singing that song. And I'm guessing that Amy Grant has probably done a version of it, too. I didn't bother to Google THAT one, but maybe I should've.

That's the song. It pretty much sums up my feelings about the A..........

......."when the sacred is torn from life and we survive".

That's the line that kept rang so clear when I heard it that I latched onto the song immediately.

Crystal, you sound just like me! I'd look something up too if given the chance to outdo H. LOL But, I'm thinking TD might've been right with his version 'cause I keep replaying it in my mind and it's always a man's voice, so maybe it is the old version I'm thinking of. I also really like Who Am I?
