OK, I let the OWH know what I knew, I called him and told him that I thought that our spouses were having an affair because of the cell phone bills, I told him that I had a years worth of bills that show them talking almost every single day, several time on some days. Long story short, the man is an idiot! He called her, my husband called me, she called me to tell me I didn't know who "I was f****** with!" She told him that she and my husband are friends and he believes her! This was a few days ago. Last night I had some friends go to the bowling alley to spy for me. My friends said that while they bowled they seemed "friendly" they "stood really close while waiting for their turns" and she kind of "hip bumped him" one time. Flirting? When they finished bowling (9:10 pm) they walked out together to put their bags in their cars. He walked with her about half way to her car, my friend said it was as if he was trying to talk to her and she just kept walking away. He turned back and went to put his bag in the truck. They came back in and he kind of "hung out while she shot pool. But they came behind my friends and were kind of whispering to eachother and standing close. My friend heard him say "I want to get me a little snack." and her say "Well, have at it!!" She left soon after and then my husband (9:30 pm.) My friends checked the parking lot and his car was gone. My husband called to see if I needed anything from the store (10:15 pm) I said "Yea, grab a gallon of milk. By the way, where have you been? I called the bowling alley at 9:30 and you were gone." He, of course, said that he was there, those idiots probably didn't even look for him! He walked in the door at 10:30 pm and it takes 25 minutes to get home from the bowling alley. Give him another 5 for stopping at the store and that still leaves 30 minutes unaccounted for! Was his "Little snack a piece of a**?" or am I reading to much into this????

Yes, and there is no way I could afford one! Maybe a digital recorder though, that is more in my budget. I do have a question though. H has since stopped calling her on his cell. If you buy a phone card would it show up on his cell phone bill? Is it a different number?

That is how i busted my WH. He thought that by using a calling card he could deter me and could tell me that he was calling his mom who lives out of state. Stupid....as if you're calling your mom at all hours of the day.
The number that shows up on the bill is the calling card number.

How do you know it's a calling card? Would it show up as a 1-800 something?

There's different access numbers that could be used to call on the calling card including a 1-800. I knew it was calling card number because i called it. The numbers showed up numerous of times and it was not familiar to me. Otherwise you can't tell just by looking at the number itself.
Hope that helps.

Ow in my sitch started using a calling card a while back. The numbers showed had normal area codes, but they ended in the same 4 numbers, like 9978. They would look like a call from say Alabama and then Georgia, but they all ended with the same 4 numbers. Hope that helps.

Today I am going to Radio Shack and getting the digital recorder to put in his car. H has been very loving since last Wednesday night. Is he trying to throw me off? I was also planning on a girlfriend sitting in the parking lot with me a little ways down the road in my car and her letting me know when he leaves the bowling alley and my following him from there. Should I wait until the following week or should I stick with this comming Wednesday? I honestly believe that he IS just being sweet to throw me off guard. You don't have cell phone bills with calls to the OW for over a year and are "just friends"!!!

I heard recently that Target carries a voice activated digital recorder priced at about $30.
Maybe check Target or even Wallmart first to save some money.
Good luck,

Wal-Mart has a cheap Sony for about $30. Don't get the RCA one it is a POS. For added funcion, go to radio shack and get the Sony model that has a computer link for about $90. If you have a PC at work you can install the software there. Then when you get information you can download it onto your work PC and not risk losing it the next time you deploy the recorder. My WW found my recorder and gave it back albeit erased. Don't count on that if you get busted. If you do get busted, don't get mad or act guilty. My WW called me on it and was really PO'd. I told her I was only trying to find out ways to help because I love her so much and she won't talk to me anymore (which is true) You don't have to lie, just throw him off guard and say something unexpected and kind. Since I found out about my WW's A by cell phone calls I just wanted to add one thing. I know the cell technology in the USA is different and I don't know that much about it. Where we live, the cells are GSM and use SIMM cards. Here, there are two types of cell service: 1) "normal" service where you get an itemized bill each month and 2) "pay as you go" service. The second is far more popular although less convenient. With the second service, even though the calls are technically registered in some computer database somewhere, you will never ever get access to them. They are effectively untraceable without a police investigation. In my WW's case, she had both types of SIMM cards and swapped one for the other when needed so I would not see the calls. If your country is like this one, don't necessarily rely on the cell phone bill that comes in the mail.

OK, Yesterday I went to Radio Shack and applied for a credit card and bought the digital voice recorder. I borrowed his truck to run to my mom's and put the recorder under the back seat passengers side. I am a wreck wondering if this thing is going to beep and give me away. It lasts 52 hours and says it is voice activated. Does that mean that if no one is talking it goes off my itself and comes back on when someone starts talking? If so, I plan to leave it until he comes home from the bowling alley on Wednesday night. I am off on Thursday and will have all day to listen to it. (When I put it in his truck on turned it on and pushed rec.)

I am not familiar with that model but, in general, voice activated means that it will shut off by itself after a time of no noise. Just the noise of the truck moving may be enough to make it record but it will go off when the noise stops.

The model is an Olympus WS-100, WMA digital voice recorder. With 5 folders and direct connect to the PC (Should have put that in my other post, sorry). Thanks for any input!

I'm feeling with you and I hope from the bottom of my heart that he is NOT having an affair even though it does sound as if he is. Lots of *Red Flags"!!!
We will be here for you, no matter what!

That's the same one I have. Be sure that you use a LITHIUM battery. They are more expensive than alkaline but lasts the longest in digital. Maybe it's just my recorder, but it goes through batteries like crazy. If I put the recorder on, in voice activiated mode, it only lasts about 15 hours at room temperature. It runs out faster if it's where it's cold. It will last a little longer if you put it on a lower sound quality setting such as "long Play" but remember, it's much lower quality.
Also, did you experiment a little while you drove around to see if your location would pick up conversations over the road noise?
Just a few things I learned by trial and error.
Hope it helps.

Thanks Blondblossom and everyone else who has helped me with my WH. I want my marriage to work, I love my husband and can't believe this is happening. I am in the collecting stage right now and am gathering as much information as I can possibly get. Then I will go to plan A. He doesn't know anything, every time I ask him why he says or does certain things, all I get is an "I don't know". It really ticks me off! I've got to get ready for work but I will be back around 3 pm.
