For those of you who had that nagging suspicion of your spouse that something was not quite right, what methods did you use to discover any activities he/she was trying to hide?

The best thing I've seen used is a GPS installed on the car. It will log in where its been and for how long.

Chobbs, in addition to the above, consider small (microcassette or digital) recorders you can hide in areas where a suspected WS might converse on land line or cell phone. They can also be hidden under front seat (for instance) of car to see what suspected WS talks about with passengers and/or on cell phone away from the home.

There's a pretty good discussion of GPS tracking devices in there along with links to websites where you can obtain them.

Briefly, they’ll run you about $300 and they will run on batteries for hours and hours. At the end of the day, you retrieve them from wherever you secreted them and download the information to your computer. Software is included to produce maps, etc. Easy to operate from what I hear.
