For those of you that remember my story, I have a new development.
I have been going to college to get my AS in Business Administration.
Well, I am now looking for daytime work, and through the coincidence of the firing of the Administrator/Executive of my MIL's assisted/dementia care facility, and my interest in Business Administration, and the care that my MIl and other elderly seniors recieve, I have decided to apply for the position that is now open.
I faxed my resume/cover letter to the organization and am now waiting to hear back from them.
I have now switched to night classes, twice a week. I only have six classes to complete before receiving my 2 year Degree.
I am so excited. The thought of being able to help correct some of the problems of the facility as well as make a difference in the care of both residents and employees.
What is definately wierd is the fact that I would see the ow, who is the activities director over at my MIL's old facility at some events where both facilities attend.
This also causes concern that the employees or ow might talk about my fwh and the EA that both had at MIL's old facility.
Being in management, brings one under the glaring spotlight.
So far, we have dodged and skirted around the question when asked why MIL moved to new facility. As far as we know, none of the employees at new facility know that FWH and OW had an EA.
That might all change if I get this job.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this situation if it should come up?
Sincerely, K.D.'s Heartbreak
