Reminds me of that Futurama epsiode where the old guy invents his smelloscope and Fry looks at Uranus with it.

This is cool geek stuff. http://reason.jpl.nasa.gov/~ostro/ToutatisHires.movThere was one I saw several years ago showing the sky as seen from Toutatis. With TWO axes of rotation, it was pretty weird seeing the constellations wandering around the sky. -ol' 2long

Actually, if you are near the north pole, you can get the sun appearing to rise in the west, and setting in the east affect. However, this add was clearly filmed somewhere in western US. Or maybe Japan, <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
As for the REAL SF, AP, you are right on. Unfortunatley, there doesn't seem to be much really good thought provoking stuff like there was in the 50's. Although, Starwars, was and is fun stuff.

HA!!!
I drank a bucket of Wyler's Grape drink while eating a sundae made with Baskin Robin's licorice ice cream (YUM!), and topping it off with Pepto Bismol (aka Dismal Bismol)

Hah, yourself. I have a cool dispersion relation in front of me and I'm not going to be distracted away from it by you guys any longer. So it's back to fun for me...
Yum.
Those are cool clips though, 2long. And it only took me 20 minutes to get my security settings to let them through. For some reason my firewall does not trust any government site.

Perhaps the grass is greener on the other side of the sun? -ol' 2long Literally, unless you live in the tropics, or right now in the southern hemisphere.
