I know this sounds callous, but one of the biggest benefits of divorce for me comes around Tax Time.
I can now claim "Head of Household" and actually get money back from the federal government, after years of paying X's business taxes. Yeah!
I also appreciate the Child care tax credit and the child tax credit. Yippee!
