There are many other sites with bb systems out there that have posters dealing the the same issues we are all dealing with here. Thing is, nobody ever offers anything but "kick-to-the-curb" advice to these people. Any time I find a poster somewhere who is dealing with a cheating spouse, I send them here. This is the only place on the internet, it seems, that KNOWS how precious our marriages are. That puts a focus on repair and restoration of love, rather than a "get over it, your spouse is a loser, so leave him/her" directive. I started off at loveshack.org, and a poster had recommended marriagebuilders, and I've been here ever since. I think any time any of us find others like us on bb systems elsewhere, it is an opportunity to get them over here, and increases the chances of another marriage being saved. With any luck, we may be able to change the rate-of-divorce statistics! This is better for everyone, no?

I also have seen that stuff on other sites, and have seen and posted on another good site. It has helped me mostly with my past issues in childhood, but when I need to vent and say things that just are not appropriate here, I have done that too.

I agree, it's really too bad that restoration of the relationship isn't the gut reaction for many people.
