Peachy,

Me thinks Darth is having some serious thinking going on about what he has done to his life.

To bad for him its way to late........

I guess eventually it does catch up to them, to bad its after all has been lost with no chance to get it back..... I would be willing to bet it happens more times than not....
Thats what I am afraid is going to happen here, when he does get it I will be long gone...... How sad ...

Hurting

I'm not harping on you J.P. (cause I remember mentioning this before and have not seen you mention it again...so sorry if I am being annoying) but the thought crossed my mind that perhaps this gift is the perfect ending to the book you are writing about this entire experience. It is such an ironic gift and you seem so ready to be done with this "story" in your life.

All the best,

Mr. Wondering

ps - My last post to you I wished to point out my presumption was you are always a "lady". No worries - I hope.

pss - Mrs. Wondering and I are moving to Canton this coming Summer (or Fall by the time we sell our house) so we hope to meet you someday at a MB get together...that'llbegreat.

Hey Peachy -

Didn't hear back from ya --- My question was this:

Why do our WH's bother giving us Valentine's Day gifts at all???? I mean, what' the point. Do they feel guilty, or what? Their Valentine is OW.

Talk to you soon!

Kim

Darn it, Peach--this is just the thing I see my WH doing if the divorce is final. How did it make you feel? I know I dont fully know how to process the crazy stuff he does, but when it's really over, are you able to process it better--right it off, so to say?

I'm just curious how this action (which, to me, just shows he still has a need for you--probably always will) makes you feel? I think you're a strong woman, and I admire your take on things.

I in NO WAY think you should feel guilty--but do you ever? I just know that I'm always worried that when it's over, even though I have no regrets--I'll still feel something of a guilt feeling when he would do something similar. (Like one night he called and asked to pray with me, then the next night brought OW around the boys).

Basically, I'm asking how connected to him do you still feel? Is it pity?

p.s read the first sentence of that book--chapter one--do you think he got that part?

Kim...sorry, ds got sick last night...and began feeling bad immediately after I picked him up from school. I don't get why he did it? How did it make me feel? Like saying "whaaaaa?" Being a bit confused. Honestly, It is like I think HE THINKS I NEED TO BE MORE DRIVEN OR SOMETHING? Just my thoughts.

The Wonderings: sure would love some nice new friends to hang about with. Canton's really pretty. my xh's business when it first moved here moved to canton..now in woodstock. very pretty area. welcome!

Ladysheep: yep...the "wha whaaaaa's" just keep coming...just keep coming.

In texas: Glad you and your adorable little one and his brothers are doing well! Go figure how your wh can pray with you one night and next night have ow around the kids...
make sure in the d agreement that there is a provision for "no overnight visitors of opposite sex" put in..unless your wh lives in a gated community as my xh did, then you can enforce at least that the kids aren't being made to view the adultery with a front row seat. keep ow out of the family home at night.

it's like they feel so justified in all they did that they believe even God will give them a mulligan for their breaking up a family and committing adultery. not so!

hurting: who knows what the man is thinking. I will NEVER know. And he risked and cared for us so little the last few years, that I am unable to feel anything period for him except the "why?" feeling I get...b/c none of it made sense.

Hi Peach,

He got YOU that book? YOU? While I only know what I read here, you come off as EXTREMELY driven. I'd have been weirded out, too. Unreal.

I sent a book to my mom's signif other, once. She (SO) was a real piece of work, got into fights, drank too much, rude as h*ll, cursed at everyone, slovenly, etc... It was 'How to win friends and Influence People' ... she HATED it, and HATED that I bought it for her.

But it was a dig at her, and I knew it. But with your exH, being the genius that he is, I cant tell if he's sending a dig or rather a sign that he's evaluating his life. Not that it matters, as I think he'll just get distracted by the next skirt that wonders into his view, but it does make you wonder. What a weirdo.

Try not to overthink it. He's done a million things that havent made sense yet, this is just one more. Take care - Dru
