I am reading the posts about changing laws and writing letters in regards to Thunderstorms CS case and I just wanted to point out a site that I found a few years ago for my job. www.congress.org and you can type in your zip code and select your state and it will give you contact info, emails, phone for any elected official in your area. You can do it all electronically.

May God bless America.
BW. d-day 01-1996. In recovery ever since.
2 OC's. I met OW and 2OC's in 1996. No contact since. H's choice. Our grown children know of 2OC's and has met one of them. No interest.
I love my H again.
MB is great.

Thanks for info... and hope this helps others that are looking at changing things.
I wrote my state congressman. Someone from his staff contacted me last week and said that on CS that the first step is to contact your local legislature in your hometown. Get the list of all the ones in your town and write everyone of them. I wrote mine and told them that I was not trying to get out of CS (tho I really believe that she dont deserve a dime), but the way the statue and guidelines were set was not for a case like ours, and because it wasnt we was getting screwed over by the statues and guidlines. That from what I can make out from their statues it was wrote for when a H and W were to divorce and that a child would not suffer and even their multi family (where a H divorces pays CS remarries and more children and then divorce) cause then they looking at all the CS support being paid to each family. Where in our case our COM are not in the system and are not be looked out for and in results they suffering and going without while the interest of the OC is being looked out for.
One of my legislature did call and ask to meet with me, dont know what it means and then where I go from there but guess I know the next step once I go there but at least that is the place to take the first step
When you learn to forgive someone who has really hurt you and forget the wound that they have caused, then you truly love that person.
