I have seen so many references to people on GII living in Texas, I just had to stick this out there. I have to include myself for the last 7 years and I have to say I love this place...Its just like a whole other country!

Who all out there call Texas home (even if you do not currently live here!?)

I don't know about that. Texas folks are a mite friendly but they can be downright clannish at times.

Do we include folks who WISH they lived in Texas?

LOL...

Alberta is called the texas of Canada since most of our companies come from your great state.

Alot of Albertans are more Texans than Canadians....

Longhorn,

God Bless you but I am more an Aggie fan! However, I will join in the celebration as it is about time that somebody from Texas won the championship!

Texan here, too.

Born in Texas, married a Louisiana boy but I got him to Texas as fast as I could.

Melody and I are neighbors practically- just a few miles from one another.

Lesee - born in Odessa, learned to drive on the back roads to lake Tyler (made it in 12 minutes once....), grad-ye-ated from the Southwest Teachers School (was SWT when I was there..)(who knows why girls at SWT have the best legs?), and had kids all over Big D (are they finished with that big bridge at 75 & 635 YET????)

Yup. I'm a Texun.

Just having to endure the weather extremes on the left coast for a few years (it is extremely 73 right now....).
