I asked about weather info because I knew you were involved in the business, but I don't know exactly how.
I'm interested in the satellite delivery services for off shore usage - all the hard core info needed on a sailing vessel. I'm pretty sure the NWS isn't involved with XM's version. Sirius' isn't yet up and running, but I'm pretty sure they'll be using some private info supplier.

OH yes, those weather service things dont work so well, my FIL took his yacht straight into some nasty weather despite the service.....

I have to ask the FIL. He sold the Yacht. He was directionally challenged and didnt pay attention to the depth meter....more than once.
We haven't decided on the Greece thing yet. I'll let you know.

ff - I recently told Jen that our circumnavigation may not play out. Too early to say. I don't want to disappoint JL, though. He promised to help us on the long Pac passage.
Stay tuned - still 3 years off, at least.
