I don't know, but I can't wait to do it to my kids. You have mail, but I don't know if it was your work or personal address.
Mom, I will try to post the next round of pictures soon, just to keep things even.

Hey, I just had a bright idea....just in case there's anybody out there that wants to read it but doesn't want to buy it, talk to your church librarian and ask her (how sexist is that???) to order it, then just borrow it! See? I am a genius, even if I am a total airhead, too.

Whew, thanks!
Another backstory, two different ideas came together to make up the story. One was thinking of different Bible people who just appeared in one or two verses. They come, they meet Jesus, and they disappear again. But before and after, they had complete, normal lives. They were babies, grew up one day at a time, were angry sometimes and happy sometimes, put on their robe one leg at a time, were people just like us (but older). Malchus is one of the ones I thought about, and wondered what he did with the rest of his life when he wasn't getting his ear chopped off.
The other part was the slaughter of the babies of Bethlehem. Whenever I would hear AJ or anyone else asking the ancient question of "If God is so fair and loving, then why....?" I would think of that, and wonder why God didn't stop it. Why didn't He save all those babies? And one day a light bulb went on. He had tried. Yes, He could have sent a few angels to slice the Romans to bits, but no one was obeying, no one was believing, no one was asking. He did all He could, without forcing them to choose Him. By their own stony hearts, they condemned their children to death.
How He would haved loved to protect them from that, but they had forfeited His blessing. And yet, even through the worst tragedy of their lives, one which they had brought on themselves, He still worked to bring them closer to Himself, if they were willing.
That was the chapter that Grandpa took to Hawaii and lost, at the same time the computer crashed and I lost my only electronic copy. It was many months before I could bring myself to try and recreate it, but it turned out better for the wait. Grandpa would still feel really bad if he could remember it, lol. But all things work together...

Do you feel the chapter was substantially changed by the delay and rewrite? It must've happened for SOME reason, after all. I noticed that an electronic fisherman is on the information highway. That might be a good way to let interested parties get a bit deeper into the story while we're waiting for the mills of the publishing gods to grind exceeding small Cheaper than mailing those honking big printed-out manuscripts at $10-12 a pop. Is that what you have in mind? I kinda like it, myself. Practice your runs; you haven't played that song for awhile and I don't want any weird stuff throwing me off when I open my mouth to sing it tomorrow...since I'd be the only one who looked silly, even if it wasn't my fault!

I have no idea how much it changed. If I could have remembered the first version, I would have written it right away.
Electronic fisherman, ha ha.

HI A2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about any inconvenience, but I have to ask, why would you want to watch the Battle of Britain and cricket, when you could be reading Malchus instead??? ROFL!
So how are you? Mending nicely? (We can fix that.) Did AW tell you we thought you called in the bomb threat so you wouldn't have to change a nappie? She swore you were innocent, though.

Thats what I like - blind faith then I can get away with anything!
unfortunately mum has big ears, a fast tongue and suspicious eyes
I'll have to remember that one though .. just in case Mikey wants to share!
I changed my password and I cant get in right now so I used AW's auto log in , shes snoring now in the rocking chair, mum just made me a dozen pikelets , wheres the jam & cream ??? then she just put Mikey down with a bottle.
My Princess is sleeping in the chair right next to her - better wake them up & send them to bed
Life may feel as if you are constantly getting kicked on a daily basis, living is about picking yourself up each day and going on and on and on regardless.

Oh, how cute! I was glad to hear it was you, cuz for a minute I thought AW had had a personality transplant. Off to church for me, and you send your girls to bed.

I just had to go and look after that, and you're right! You have starred me, and my own mother hasn't. MOMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEE!!!! I WANT MORE STARS!!!!!!!!!!
(Otherwise I'll do desperate things like sign myself on there as 50 different customers - all who love me and give me lots of stars.)
Stick around this evening, A2 is sure to wake up eventually.

Oh, Aussie, what are pikelets? Are they little fish, like miniature pike or something?

I can't believe that we can't get AT LEAST 50 people to give it 5 stars. My goodness - you must have 50 relatives.

Yes, it is! And I didn't rate it because for almost forever the stupid publisher didn't get it listed on Amazon.com, and once it was, I couldn't figure out what to say. "Hi, potential buyers...I'm the author's mother, but you should rest assured that this is a totally unbiased review of this absolutely SENSATIONAL book. Buy it. You'll like it."
