getting worried.

please please pray that I get the job tomorrow.

they are going into the meeting in the morning.

I am nervous. very very nervous.

It would be so great for ds and I..no more calls, nights spent sleeping on gurney at hospital, no long fifteen hour days sometimes...and lighter load and more money.

we really need it...the little bit of alimony I get will run out next year...1.5 years from now. so I need this.

please please pray.

and pray for calm nerves tomorrow.

They had the meeting this morning.

when should I worry? when is too long to have waited? when would they contact me?

After the meeting they probably had to have the offer typed up and get paperwork in order. Did they say how and when they will notify you?

they did not say...just that they are making their decision today (this was last wednesday) and they had the final interview the day after mine ...there was only one other person there. it was/went quite well.

she said she'd be getting back to me after the meeting but did not say when...so I am on pins/needles until then.

Prayers here for you too. I understand you are a nurse Peachy...have you ever considered doing clinical research either at a study site or perhaps working as a trial leader (many clinial trial leaders started in nursing) in the pharma industry? Either option might give you more stable hours and income.

GOOD NEWS! just got in email from practice manager.

they were UNABLE TO lasso all the docs together for the meeting yesterday. It is NEXT TUESDAY instead. She was kind, apologetic for the delay, and said that SHE WILL BE IN TOUCH after that and thanked me.

I kindly emailed her with a "revised" contact phone number for one of my references this morning along with a number for a physician reference (guy I know well) and she promptly returned the email within say fifteen minutes. So that means she is interested.?? Yes? No?

friend of mine, professional one, told me to "pretend" to send another reference and revise another contact number in an email to her...that way, if she is NOT INTERESTED, or that if I was not the chosen candidate (there is only one more...a guy with same years experience as me), then they'd let me know asap.

But she was quick in her response, and it was good. hope it was good anyway.
