My daughter's best friend's cousin drowned a week or so ago. They just found his body yesterday. Please keep his family in your prayers. He was only 14.
My daughter's friend is greatly distressed.
This comes only 3 weeks after my cousin lost her 16 year old in a car wreck in which she was driving.
So much sadness.

{{{{cinderella}}}} So sorry to hear this. At work, we've had a lot of losses recently, too, but not children. Sometimes it seems like so much tragedy happens in our lives all at once.

In my lifetime, I have known of several children who died -
a classmate died of leukemia when I was 10
a college student with whom I went to church died
now-x had a former co-worker whose son apparently committed suicide
friends from church had a 16yo son who died of a pulmonary embolism
now Mary Helen and Travis
that doesn't even touch the stillborn babies
