-weight loss -problems with my teeth -stange pain in my head -strange pulling feelings in my stomack -depression -uterus problems -syptoms of "menopause" (at 40y0) -intestine problems -panik attacks
I went to the doctor and they "never" could find anything wrong with me.............hmmmmmmm so I guess this must be something pyschological.

Definitely weight loss..unable to eat...poor nutrition Trouble sleeping' no interest in things that used to interest me
I think if you see a list of symptoms of depression, alot of them would be familiar...My blood pressure has always been on the low side, but I would imagine that for many people, their blood pressure would increase...

Toolman,
- I'm small to begin about 116 lbs.normally ( I was only 132 lbs when the kids were born) and I went down to 105 lbs in about 2 weeks - Vomiting - loss of appetite - Nausea - upset stomach - Depression - Headaches - Nightmares - Insomnia - Anxiety attacks (felt like a heart attack - went to hospital emergency - never had these) - Fits of anger - Difficulty concentrating - Feeling insecure - Dizzy - lightheaded
You name it, I got it. I finally had to get medication because I couldn't take it anymore - thought I would have a mental breakdown. the medication is not addictive and has helped a great deal. I would have never taken medication before.

Most of the things mentioned above. My FWH even has some of them as well. I bet that if anyone ever did a study that it would show that truly remorseful FWS and FBS actually have a decreased life expectancy. All of these symptoms can only mean there is some really bad stuff going on physically as well as emotionally.
If only they knew.....wait, it wouldn't make any difference, people know about smoking, being overweight, not exercising etc. and they mostly don't change their lifestyles.

Toolman - I felt the heart attack symptom. Pain in my chest that was not sharp - just dull persistent pain. Usually associated directly with finding more evidence of the As. (seems the stiletto in my back just missed my heart .....or not)
The constant advice about ADs if you are depressed is very sound advice. If you are very depressed, the ADs can help you a lot, and help you think clearly.

Hi Toolman,
quote:------------------------------------------------- wow., I have a lot of these & didn't notice -------------------------------------------------------
I am sorry, toolman, but this comment made me laugh really hard...I guess now you are sorry asked!
For the record, here's my list after D-day until the time WH moved out, because I am now in PLAN B and doing soooooo much better (used others' postings as 'inspiration'):
-poor sleep (got medication to help when needed) -weight loss (and I was only 115 lbs. to begin with) -problems with my teeth -my doc told me I had 'situational' depression -intestine problems -anxiety attacks (ended up at the emergency room once to get help - after that, got medication when needed) -nauseous feeling -did not care for my children as well as I should have -hard to concentrate at work; my boss was very kind and allowed me to take time off when I could -went to IC just to help cope with the shock -crying outbursts that would not end -a few times called 'suicide' helpline just to talk to someone to get passed the 'moment', because I thought I had already called the few friends I had toooo many times and I didn't want to lose them (even though all were very generous with their time and never made feel like I was 'bothering them')
.....bottom line....like many....I was a big mess....
I am not sure what your situation is or what 'signs' you are showing.... but whatever they are.... do consult and get help.....
...what I think helps in general is doing activities that remove the focus from the 'M-troubles', even just simple walks in the park, sun-bathing a bit, going to the movies, a good story, whatever you 'enjoy' will help a lot...
....and, of course, knowing you can come and 'talk' to us on the Board really really helped ME...and not just for the great advice I got!
XBW DS16 & DS22 PLAN D: finalized!
