I had just had our daughter so sex for us had been non existent for about 4 months and he claims it just felt good to be wanted in that way but swears up and down that it will never happen again and that he is sorry blah blah blah I just dont know if I should forgive him or not this has never happened to me before and we have only been married for 3 years been together 5????

Welcome to marriagebuilders. Yes, you should forgive him. Keep reading here, and you will see that only 1 out of 1,000 men confess to something like this.

Sex is a HUGE need for most men - kind of like conversation is for most women. I suggest you fire up the burners. If there is a reason you cannot do the whole thing, at least do what you can do to take care of his needs and make him feel wanted.

Now that you have found this site, please read all of the stuff about making a wonderful marriage together. Ask your husband to read too. Especially check out the emotional needs section on the home page.

Yes, forgive him. I know this is easier said than done. I always considered myself a forgiving person till I was faced with the prospect of forgiving my FWW.

Your husband made some bad choices and almost made a terrible mistake. He obviously cares about you a great deal. He could have chosen to keep this a secret - meaning there would have been a much greater chance of it happening again some day, maybe all the way.

It seems like he was horrified by what he did. You are lucky. Keep reading and posting here for lots of good advice and ways to make your M affair proof.
