Thanks for asking.

YEE HA (sp?) Not quite sure how you spell it.

I'm amongst the Texans now. It's quite different than Florida. Yesterday it was 93 degrees...tonight they say it will be in the 30's. I guess I'll have to buy some flip-flops with thinsulate.

The family is still in St. Pete until at least October. Not th e ideal situation but financially it is unavoidable right now. I have an outside chance of going back early in 07. Should know more come summer.

My youngest daughter was 6 weeks old yesterday and is starting to laugh. Our DD9 is missing me a bunch. She is 100% a daddy's girl. My wife is holding up ok but has her hand really full with all the stuff that is up in the air.

With only a TV, a dog and my computer I'm a little bored and lonely so I've been spending some time on MB.

On the plus side I saw my first roadrunner. Kinda disappointed that it was brown rather than blue though.

How's thing in your world?

God Bless (Texas)

Doug

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I was intended to be.

First time I saw one I was disappointed that it wasn't 6ft tall running across the road going beep beep.. I really had no idea they were small animals.

Well, the only thing I saw in Texas was an armadillo, and it was dead on the side of the road.

So far the road runner and the amount of apartment choices have been the only small things I've seen here.

And you didn't pick it up? That is possum [sic in Arkansas] on the half-shell for an Arkie.

And before anyone from Arkansas gets offended, I just want to point out that I am originally from Arkansas and so are all my incestors so I just wanted to say "hey cousin!".

Every time I see an armadillo I think of those Lone Star beer commercials (I'm dating myself) with the giant "amradilla" that drank all the beer.
