every time I see my company's pushing of their own health system insurance ....
I hear the slogan...
and then I always add in my head...
unless you work for us then don't you dare even THINK about getting sick EVER!!!!!
seven years in this current position..I have called off...
THREE times....uptill now with son in hospital...
bet I get written up...
bet ya....
It's against their policy for you to call off....
surely someone else could stay at the hospital with him..
and surely someone else could cross the quarantine tape out front and come in and take care of my children....

They are admitting my four year old to Childrens Hospital...and I can't go be with him cause my poor little six year old is sick as well....
oh yeah I am off to call off for my twelve hour shift tomorrow....how ridiculous is it to feel guilty for calling off when your own family is sick...I think that makes me sick...
