I liked it, and I thought it was a good point you made about bringing laughter and inside jokes into the marriage to replace the old pain of the never, never land affair days.

U think? I saw all the hits but little comments. I appreciate those who did post but wondered if it just might be too offensive for most.
Yes, I do agree with you and wanted to show that even at this stage, things still need to be periodically checked and preparation steps in case it should happen again.
The toll the A has taken on H still shows. He will wear the scar of the A on his heart for the rest of his life. I will share that but while my scar also resides in my heart, it is in also in my mind as well. Our scars are in different places but can't be removed. Only able to make the future better or worse.
Your input is important to me. I will give thought about reposting the 'story'.

I think it's not a DJ as long as I don't say why. neak - continuing the thought....isn't that about the same thing as saying men have been "required" to put up with whatever a woman might say because it's "not her," it's PMS? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> As long as there are wives, men will have the foregone right to simply "not listen" to anything they might say as they incessantly babble. There's a certain commercial on television that this reminds me of. A husband is engrossed in a television program, the wife enters the room and asks, "Honey, does this dress make me look fat?" She is behind him, forgetting that men are "Visual" and she needs to be in his line of sight, and has not gotten his attention. He absentmindedly replies, "Yes," not really HEARING her question but knowing she babbled something but KNOWS he needs to respond and the famous "Yes, dear" fits most occasions, PMS or otherwise. Needless to say, from her reaction, he's in the doghouse for weeks as a result. The joys of conversation!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Yep, Yep, Yep!!!! So this makes one wonder.....which male gene creates this problem where being out of the line of sight forces some men (most men??) to stick their necks out only to get a whiplash. Ever seen the dogs with their heads out the car windows as the car rushes down the road. It's the same thing. It's the "dog gene" in all of us "dogs."
