Am I a fool to believe that H will eventuallly come back to me after leasing an apartment and spending a lot of money on furniture?
I try to be positive, but I don't know.

Possibilities are there, even with new furniture and a new apartment, his place will feel empty.

With my W it was the same, she moved out, took some furniture and even started court proceedings. I didn't support her financially b/c I didn't support what she was doing.

She moved back home after 1 month apart, 3 days before court dates were to start.

Try and be nice to him and give him reasons to miss you and your home. Doesn't always work but it did for me.

Hang in there and don't give up.

PLK...Your are not a fool to hope...I'm new here but I will tell you when my BF of 6 years moved out he signed a lease for one year....he too bought furniture etc....he lasted three weeks after signing the lease.....he missed me wanted to come home......I know its hard but just be patient....use this time to find yourself again....keep busy.....think of something you have wanted to do but could never find the time and do it.......once your healthier and happier with yourself everything else will fall into place.......take care and enjoy the day!
