Say a quick flare prayer. We got a call from the CPS lady investigating all the calls we made of VD recently (they upped it to another CPS person, I guess b/c there were still calls after the other one closed cases on her). She said she wants to talk to the Wookie about the concerns he has with the way VD is handling the children.

Lice book is out (btw, mija had them again last night when we picked them up). Our house is spit-spot (it was pretty clean anyway...but now it's sparkly)....she's meeting him there at 2...we wanted to show her (CPS lady) our house vs. the tart's...

Get this, VD has been calling OUR lawyer to complain about us having the kids so much (after she signed the order)...like, what is OUR lawyer going to do for HER? Oh....and she's been giving them to us a day early...she didn't even go a full week of these visits before she began giving them to us a day early....and she has said NOTHING about it other than it's more conveinent for her cos she won't have to take them on the bus.

So that's logged in our handy dandy notebook....which will also be shown to the CPS lady...along with our calendar showing when we have them and when we take them home.

IT WENT GREAT! Big discussion about VD and her lifestyle....but the first words out of the CPS lady's mouth? "Oh...it's so clean!!!!!!" LMAO! Well ya! We like our house that way.

Another feather in our cap. She was DISGUSTED with the VD NOT cleaning up the lice, but has only heard of 1 case where a kid was taken away b/c of it...and that was b/c the child had scars from them. She said b/c we clean it up when we get them, it's good, but she realizes the kids get them when they go back. Said to keep the lice book...(blech) Said it was obvious it wasn't US (as VD had told her). Also said that she's spoken to the older kids over there and they know entirely too much about all of this mess and she's concerned about that - as are we. We make a concerted effort NOT to talk about this around the children, but apparently the VD doesn't have that stop on her mouth. Said the girls over there talk about hating the Wookie for what he's done to their mother ??? Also said every one of them has lice, too.

So...there's the scoop. Her report can be requested in our further court precedings.
