We have been seeing an MC for about a month now.....3 sessions together....no real talk about the A just kind of passed over it....MC doesn't seem interested in exploring it....she asked him if the A was serious he said no not at all that was it???? Looking for some insight......have any of you been to an MC did the explore the A and why it happened she said he has low self-esteem etc.....She also wasn't happy that he gave me his password to he email account she didn't really say anything but made a face? I guess my question is how are we suppose to recover and make sure this doesn't happen again if the MC is focusing on his low self esteem and not the A? Anyone out there who has been to an MC??? Any feedback would help!

Yes sad, you need a new counselor. Find one that is pro-marriage and specializes in affair recovery. We got very lucky with our counselor. She was wonderful. We got her name from our church. Good Luck to you.
