I just thought I would share a thought with those who post and then return later thinking they will delete their post and no one will ever have a clue what they wrote. It may be true to a point, but webcrawlers capture data and save it for search engines......well if that paticular webcrawler just happens to pick up the information, it's captured somewhere. Maybe it's not on Marriagebuilders, but it's out there on a server.

So deleted, doesn't always mean deleted. Maybe deleted here, but it's out there where someone can find it.

Funny you bring this up, because I was thinking about starting a post about the deleted posts... though not exactly the same as yours (I'd never thought of using Oliver North!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> LOL)...

My point would have been to never write anything you wouldn't want someone you know to read.

I've done it. Guilty, here. I've written stuff I shouldn't have... and I've deleted a few posts. But between my two login names I've used since I got here in 1999, no kidding I have over 10,000 posts. I mean, that can't possibly be deleted anyway.

I guess my words here are just a reminder that the internet is a public place. For GOODNESS sakes, if you're in danger, or there is ANY CHANCE you're in danger -- DON'T WRITE something that will get you abused or killed. Yipes. Be CAREFUL.
