saenz, It's good to know there are still people out there like us. I wonder how many of us exist...maybe about 10%?? I just ran into MIL about 10 minutes ago. You can read the story on my other thread..."success stories to filing for divorce. I'm lost. I need help." (something to that effect.) I don't know the exact name. Let me know what you think of it.
I don't have much time now, but I will read more of your posts when I have time.

I am a FWW - and I can tell you it's PURE SELFISHNESS.

I am a FWW - and I can tell you it's PURE SELFISHNESS. Are you saying, then, you didn't feel any guilt at all, you didn't even think about it? Are you still with your H? -CO

In the beginning I believe my FWH felt justified and satisfied even tho he would never admit it. After a couple of months, OW became clingy and demanding and the affair began to be more trouble than it was worth. He began to feel smothered and wanted out.
In truth, I am not sure that he feels any real guilt even now no matter what he says. I think what he feels is shame that he let OW manipulate him into continuing the affair for many months after he wanted to and tried to end it. He was a coward, she knew it, he knew it and I know it.
