While I was finishing other post, w called and said she had a realization this morning that I do love her and always had, it was just not how she needed it, and she realized I was doing it the only way I knew how and that she had been unfair to me wanting me to love her how she wanted to be loved. She said I never was abusive to her or wanted to run and that she was the one that ran.
I think she is beginning to see the light.
She also said she considered asking me to spend the night last night. She had asked me last night were I was going to sleep as my inlaws were staying at our house and in my(our) bed and my daughter is too old for me to sleep with and my son tosses and turns too much(like me). I had joked that she should have ask me to stay and she said it was too soon and which I agreed.
Things are starting to look up!
RWD -
Hey bud...this IS great news!!! I get VERY excited when people who are caught in this infidelity trap are finally able to free themselves!! I get especially excited when those people are in situations that resemble mine!! I'm really envious of you RWD!!
Be careful of moving too fast. Also, consider (eventually) asking your W to get herself tested for STD's, blood workup, the whole nine yards. (At this point it would be a HUGE lovebuster but DON'T get intimate without knowing). You never know RWD, spending a night together just MAY end up passionately. This may be WAY too early to worry about...I just wanted you to keep it in tha back of your mind.
I pray that things go well for you this weekend. If you can, try to get some alone time with your W without kids (you have them, right) or other family members. You have a lot to be thankful for buddy...be sure to give thanks to the One that made it all possible!!!
