ditto, Mulan is a wise one.
weave - still want to know about that space between protons? It's very similar to that void between a WS's ears. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Read what AP said about the space WAT - "I just wanted to know how the spooky space between protons could be likened to what happens in the universe when two people are attracted to each other romantically. (and not OP or WS addiction stuff either...when it is a GOOD thing)"
Huh?
I can write down the equations predicting the interactions between any two subatomic particles you choose. I can even put a couple of them in 11 dimensions for you, if you wish.
But what happens to the universe when two people are attracted romantically?
Uh, err, hah… space time twists or something. Yeah, that’s it. It gets all twisty like. The protons in my head start spinning. And time dilates, it dilates a lot.
And in the case of my particles, they fell out of my mouth all over the floor every time I tried to entangle with FWW.
Added: As my FWW likes to say, "Welcome to my world." I then told him to just never mind, to which he simply replied - *****whew***** And I'm still laughing...how funny!

Hi, weaver - thanks so much for the kind words. Hope you are doing well.
Not much to say here. I just continue to detach and save money. WH continues to insist that "all he has is the end of the day" when it comes to spending time on his marriage and family.
ok
Tomorrow, he is taking DS18 to Chicago to be present at one of his awards banquets where WH is getting (yet another) big big company award. This is the same event that he lied to me about last year - let me think he was in his hotel room eating pizza when he was really out at this big bash with his coworkers - and is just one more in an endless stream of company-sponsored events which he has always used as an excuse to spend good quality time with female coworkers.
This time, it's much smaller and the girls won't be at the dinner. So he actually invited me (hey, nobody else will be there, why not take the booby prize?) Uh, no thanks, let me know when I'm good enough to be seen with you when the girls ARE present, m'kay? So, he wants to take DS18, who's also been working part-time at the same company, to give him the very great honor of seeing how massively important this event really is.
Now, DS18 is a great kid, but he has had a bad case of senioritis this year and has been cutting class. WH is all blustering and indignant about this, but he only found out because he called the school to get permission for DS18 to take *another two days* off school to go to Dad's big party.
Why didn't he know about this from me? Uh, because his phone's always shut off - has been for years - and he's only got "the end of the day" for me, remember? When WH is at work or on the road, he is cut off, disconnected and unavailable - unless you a fawning female coworker.
The rest of us have to wait for the end of the day.
I don't think it ever dawned on him that by cutting me off, he was also cutting off his son and cutting off the very best ally he had when it came to his son - his son's mother.
WH never used to be this way. When DS was very young, WH would never even listen to that stupid song "Cat's in the Cradle," about the guy who ignored his family for his job and always put them off for later, until he realized one day that the son had grown up and was now ignoring dad for his own job. He would say, "If I ever turn out like that, just kick me in the head, okay?"
Well, he DID turn out like that, and no amount of head-kicking - or any other approach - ever even made a dent.
Success was absolutely the worst thing that could have happened to WH. His priorities and values have become completely reversed from what they were.
He reminds me of a nice normal guy who suddenly finds himself a rock star, like Elvis - and utterly self-destructs because he is so caught up in the attention and the yes-people and cannot see what he has become. Instead of enjoying his fame and the perks with his family and friends, he shoves the family and old friends aside for the drug of attention and girls - and ends up with nothing.
Well, enough about me. Hope all of you are well. I do try to help other people here if I can, because it makes me feel a little better. Sometimes that's all ya can do.
thanks again Mulan
Me, BW WH cheated in corporate workplace for many years. He moved out and filed in summer 2008.

Success was absolutely the worst thing that could have happened to WH. His priorities and values have become completely reversed from what they were. Sad when this happens, but it does seem to happen a lot. And it is even more sad when they do not get it until they are lying on their death bed full of heartache and regrets..."what have I done, how could I have been so blind?". Frustrating to be sure and you have been fighting the good fight for so long Mulan...don't let it take it's toll on you as much as you can help it. Take care!
