All seriousness aside, my heartfelt thought and prayers go out to you today CJ. Your selfless heart and hands have reached so many and for that I am forever grateful. May the good Lord bless and keep you..... Many hugs, many thoughts, and mucho prayers........

Oh and no fair trying to put books in your britches, when Mr New Hubby CJ comes to give you those spankens.... Hmmm.... Spankens, with as many as you're fixin to get can we say you have a fetish?.....

Happy Birthday.....

Love, the Jester....

Happy Birthday, CJ!!

You've been an inspiration to me throughout this whole mess and this year, you've got a lot to celebrate. So, have a big bite of chocolate cake on me (better than spankens, IMHO!)

Is that something like mountain oysters? As a transplanted easterner out west, I've heard a lot of unsavory stories about fried balls, but never BOWLING balls.

Bill, your reference to "tornapanties" had me chuckling!

Yesterday was my 44th birthday--yes, that's right! I am 44 years old--hoorah!!! I received several nice cards and gifts yesterday in celebration of my birthday, and a very, VERY special (heartbeat) dinner made by my DH--but the gift that got me happy-cry was that my SD10 made me a chocolate cake by herself. She measured all the ingredients and beat it "200 strokes" and everything.

Here's why that makes me happy-cry. The my DH and I have the skids all the time...and their mom is EXTREMELY picky about presents and will usually just return them and buy her own, etc. So the kids are a little hesitant to buy or make gifts because they were never good enough. So for her to give me a gift AT ALL is amazing!! But for her to MAKE me something is just...just...

I am THRILLED!!!!

Happy Happy Birthday CJ....

Love that SD and her cake... Those are the most precious gifts in the whole wide world!!!

As for the burning bowling balls....AHEM! I've seen a lot of calf-fries and none of them were big as bowling balls!

As for your version of POJA??? Works for me!!! Hope that skillet is CAST Iron. I've got a 14 incher I could send ya.

(That's skillet, boys - not balls.)

Hugs and spankins!

Jan
