"PS: Is there meth involved? Sure sounds like it."

This is the quote i was going to ask you a question about, my WH has money problems, and has a pretty big amount to pay off, i do know he uses meth, he has told me many months ago that his debt stems from this. But i thought it was a lie to cover something else up, since i didnt think any dealer would extent such an amount. But your post got me thinking, maybe he did apply for CC's that i do not know of and is now paying them off.

Have you had experiences with someone who is or was using this? If so, how do i deal with that? I just would like to know more about it, if you do have any insight into this, i would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I saw him here today for awhile. Hopefully he will chime in.

I've lost a husband and a lot of friends to meth. I told my boys if they ever decided to try it, they might as well just shoot themselves and have it done with.

Even heroin addicts can at least function, and sometimes keep a family together. But meth users seem to just go into a downward spiral. Everyone I've known has lost everything. It is a terrible drug.

thank you for caring, he started taking it about 1 1/2 to 2 years back, said he started it so he could stay awake at work at night and have contact to me during the day online (when he was still trying to get me back and i was in my EA). Not sure if OW was into it first or if he got her into it. I do know they are both using it, so he is paying for two habits. I read a bit about meth online and it is something scary, but when he is under the influence of it, he seems like a normal person, i dont really see any impact of the drug. And when he doesnt take it, i dont see any withdrawal or anything either. So even though i read plenty about it, i dont really see any signs of him being on it or not on it. I do know that his company kicks ppl out for drug use, and they do test their employees regularly, but WH has told me, he claims to take viagra and meth supposedly shows up in those tests with the same results that viagra does. In an attempt to "connect" to him at one point when i was visiting him last year, i used it with him, and promptly had a panic attack a few hours later to where he had to come back home from work cause i called him in panic. Dont ask what my panic attack looked like, you will laugh, i also stayed awake for the whole day, whole night and following day afterwards, never feeling tired, but other than that i really didnt feel much. So i am not really sure what meth does, especially when you take it for longer periods of time.

Taking it myself actually made me believe that this drug isnt so bad as it seemed to be described on the online websites that i found, but like i said, its not like i have continued to take it, so i am probably way off on this one.
