The only thing about that is that it's really hard to reassure them that they can be worthy again. See, they've built up lies, so they think EVERYONE lies...comprende? They color everyone else with the same crayon they used on themselves and cannot see that not everyone is the same as them (it's part of the fog).
This is exactly the kind of stuff my WW has been saying. I'm glad I looked at this thread. This paragraph just raised my happiness bar a notch. Thanks!

Maybe this'll help you guys....this afternoon the Wookie takes me to lunch to meet up with an old friend of ours (this guy he's known since Kindergarten). On the way back the Wookster flippantly says, "You're so lucky." I snorted at him...because I CAN snort at him being silly now. Then he quietly says, "No...I'm the lucky one." "Por que?" sez I. Very firmly he says, "I'm lucky you didn't leave my sorry behind..." (only being a cop with a cop's mouth he said another word that MEANS behind )

The fog lifts guys.

I never thought it would for the Wookie. Never ever. Thought plan D was going to be where I was headed. But with Plan A, then a smidge of a Plan B....the fog lifted.

Unfortunately for me, I was UBER stubborn and thought I could modify my plans....thought I was the exception (kinda like FOGGED out only on the betrayed side). See, the waywards think they're special, when we KNOW nearly everything they've done has been done five bagillion times before by other waywards....this goes for us betrayed, also.....we're convinced by our waywards they are special and unique and therefore our situation is unique...so we modify the plans because of that (gag) uniqueness. Don't fall for it. It's not unique. They aren't unique. They are about as mundane and drab as you can get while they are cheating.

Unique is YOU for staying and making YOU better. Unique is NOT changing them, but changing how you react to them. Unique is them RECOGNIZING your changes and appreciating it. Unique is becoming each other's lighthouses through the fog.

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

Kimmy,

It's interesting how upbeat everything just got. WW just called to say she was on her way home, but she's got to put gas so an extra 10 minutes. Ok. No prob. She says, "Just give me 5 minutes to change and grab my homework after I get in the door and we can be on our way." ...referring to our MC session tonight. She sounded enthusiastic about it.

At any rate, seeing that someone else thought that WS can project their own image onto BS, thus causing FOG and silly statements helped to make sense to me.

Thanks again and good luck.
