I am not understanding your role here. I mean no disrespect... but why do adults need someone here to decide that we can or cannot read anothers opinion or express disagreement with another poster. I certainly understand the need to view material for things that could put MB in legal trouble... but far too often, IMHO, I find the moderators decide when enough disagreement has been had on a particular topic. Doesn't a MB aprticipant have the ability to ignore another poster if they so choose... in effect... change the channel... while still allowing others to participate in a discussion that they choose to be engaged in? I did not question their right to do so... they have a right to edit any posting not typed in purple font.... I am seeking the reason for the edits, lockouts and such. Not questioning their right.

I think the "reason" would be because that is the best course of action according to their judgement. They are expected to use THEIR judgement in each situation and I think, as GUESTS HERE, we should respect that.

IMO, in addition to the above, they are also trying to provide a safe haven for healing. Some of the posters are very fragile, especially at first, and I believe it is one of the goals to protect them.

We allow and encourage healthy discussion, but the line has to be drawn when it crosses over into attacking individuals.
We cannot allow the posting of another person's personal information or soliciting.
We do the best that we can do. Please remember we are volunteers working other jobs. Sometimes we have to multitask and make quick decisions and edit or lock threads while we are working our paying jobs.
Oue main purpose and priority is Marriage Building. Thank you for your question. I hope this helps answer it.
