I feel as if my life is falling apart. My H is having an EA, maybe PA. Denies it.

He is living on his own now. I don't see things ever getting better. He's making no effort to work on our M. Think he likes being away from his family.

People say to work on me. I've tried, but I'm at the point where I don't care. I'm surviving for the kids sake. I'm on AD's and anti anxiety meds. Don't think they are working.

I pray constantly, read books about my situation, but I don't know what else to do. I can't stop crying.

I'd appreciate any prayers you can for me.

Thanks

Hey Lady, I feel for you so much. I've spent 12 years alone since my daughter's father (my xh) found him another woman while we were at Ft. Hood, TX. It feels horrible - feels like a nightmare!!! But I will give you words of encouragement - you can make it! I did, raising two kids alone for those 12yrs. One of the best things you can do is find a group of females you can get together with. Maybe there is a support group in your area for single parents?? Anything you can do that is emotionally safe to fill up the void that all of this has brought on. I'm sure the kids probably have games or something that they participate in. That was one thing that helped me over the years. I would meet lots of moms at the games and that gave me someone to talk to. If you can afford it and have a female friend to go out with, the two of you might consider going out to eat and/or going to the movies. Maybe you know someone you could swap babysitting with to help with the cost.
There's no easy answer. The pain will be there until you start filling that time with other things and it has time to fade. Even then it's going to pop back in when you least expect it. That's when you'll need a female friend to talk to, a shoulder to cry on.
I would recommend a church, but in my past dealings with them, I was just expected to suck it up and go on. That's not how God's love works. It's a matter of Christians being there for one another. I hope the best for you and I'll pray for you.
Becki
