The only show I watch and keep up with-- I ditto that Paris is out tonight. Elliot and Chris are my faves!

Sorry. Paris is my favorite. I called my son at college and told him to tell his dorm mates to vote for her.
I hope she doesn't leave. I thought she was GREAT last night. She sounded just like Toni Braxton.

I guess you already can tell that I am definitely NOT a ROCK fan so Chris is my least favorite...
I know..not a popular opinion.

am not a rock fan that much either, but I like his background story so much. he married a single mom with two kids and has taken them under his wing. So I have been partial to him. And I like bald heads <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

WAT:
Did we decide that there is a male version of DQ?
My DQ doesn't watch IDOL either..
Of course, she wouldn't be watching a show that everyone else is watching.
I haven't even heard of the shows that she watches...

Chris is talented, but reminds me too much of those guys who play in the local bands--pretty stuck on himself. He comes across to me like Vin Diesel...another guy who's ego could fill a zip code. He'll probably make it to the final two or three, which will further feed his ego. Glad to hear his personal story has some redeeming features, though.

I thought he's been a bit cocky, too. But still like his story. I saw it on the audition shows in the beginning. Reality shows are way out of character for me, and people who know me laugh that I get so into this show. It's a good break from this chaos, that's for sure!

Paris is very unerving..
way way too sexualized already...she's only sixteen...
she sings songs way too old for a sixteen year old..

I'm with WAT, I was going to ask if an "American I-Doll" was barbie with internet access.
What is it really?

I think sometimes about all the pain in the world. I hope we can ease that here, even if only a little bit.

I liked Kat better in the beginning..
I'm amazed at how talented Paris is for her young age...
Ark, she's tame compared to the teenagers around here...

exactly mimi...we just keep dropping every bar we can find...under the old guise...
"everyone's doing it..."
Paris is very talented...
and she tries to make her mark gyrating to an artist formerly known as prince... she can do better than that.....
personally I adore prince...he oooozes sexuality...
Paris...a seventeen year old girl singing it... just creeeps me out and makes me sad...

I don't think she did a good job with covering Prince. He oozes S-E-X, albeit sweaty, and probably kinky, and watching Paris cover that song made me think of a little girl playing Dress Up. I like the way Taylor keeps trying to be like Mr. All American. He's not that good, but he's very likeable. Kat's problem is she doesn't sing in her comfort zone enough.

If Paris didn't speak she would sound so much better.
I think Elliott is wonderful, but I don't think he has a gimmick I guess you can say. I think his voice is the best.
I have a teenaged daughter and she adores Chris- said she might even start listening to rock music if he starts recording.
