Sundog:
How is your beautiful young, strong son doing?

Some people just don't get it, they don't get it that they don't get it.

He's doing pretty well, thanks for asking.
Unfortunately I had to return home to continue working, but my wife and he should be returning home within a week or two. His scar is completely scab free already and he was provoking me to wrestle and tickle him before I left. He's very happy these days.
His appetite is picking up, but his liver function numbers are a bit up this week, so they will do a biopsy. Even if he is rejecting, the doctors say it's very treatable these days and they are not worried about it.
I don't know if I ever mentioned, but he had a disease that prevented him from eating anything with more than tiny amounts of protein. He survived mainly on a special formula. Now that he is cured, he's definately enjoying some real food, specifically Costco churros.

Sundog, I hope your son continues to improve. Thank God for organ donors. This must have been a very stressful time for you all. Take care. TT

It's funny how that puts things in persepective since all of us take some as basic as eating for granted. Glad to hear your son is doing well. All the best to you and your family! HTW
