Well, i wanted to go back home, as i cannot live here anymore in this country like this. The debt in germany has been to the courts so the repo-guys are involved. They even tried to take stuff out of my sisters apartment for my husband's and my debt, they said that i was registered there (which i am not, i used her address as a mailing address only)
Well i was going to go to my parents until i could get an apartment and a job, but in germany you have to register in the town you live in, or you dont get anything... no welfare.. no job.. no nothing. But if i were to register myself and my daughter at my parents home, they could legally take their things for my debt!!!!!!
I have been told germany would not go after my husband for the bills, as he is in another country, he is american and works for an american firm, that would cost germany too much, they will go after me, even though i dont have an income, at least not yet. I cannot put my parents into this position. But i cant stay here anymore either, but i cant take my daughter to an uncertain situation, i cant do that to my family.
Guess i will go back to germany and live on the streets somewhere, that way noone is being held responsible for our debt. I dont know what to do anymore. I just want some light at the end of the damn tunnel, was my crime that great, that i dont deserve to start new? I didnt kill a family, ****** i never even thought i could loose my husband over this, this is how bad my thinking was messed up. I come here and he doesnt come home, i never thought this would happen. I already have lost everything, now i cant even start over. Why? why?
Havent i been punished enough? I cant put any of my family members in this situation, i just cant. I have never felt so damn alone in all of my life. I just dont know what to do anymore...

I know nothing of the laws in Germany, but hugs and prayers are headed your way.

You should go to the German Consulet here in the U.S. and find out if there is anything that can be done to help you with your situation. Also try the U.S. Immagration department too find out your rights as you have married an American citizen and explain your situation. You may already be a US citizen or be eligible to apply for US citizenship. If that is what your concern is.

Daggi,
That is a good idea. Go to the German Embassy in Kuwait City. I have never believed that Embassies are all the helpful but naybe Germany has better ones.
I still think you need to see what level of protection that divorce will offer you. You need legal advice.

hi beauty, thanks for your answer , but i am not in the states, my husband is here in kuwait living with OW, and i am here too living in a seperate apartment with the children. Its a long and complicated story Sorry i didnt mention that in my post.
hey traic,
i am contacting the german embassy as i type this, i also want to know that if i would start divorce proceedings here, if that would even possible. Adultry is illegal here and i am not sure what would happen then. I have also contacted his firm and the phillipine embassy, as well as the american embassy, but i havent heard from any of them. So now i am sending the german embassy an email and see if they care to talk to me... Wish me luck...

Yes you can get divorced in one fashion or another. The Arabic way is really easy but that is not available to you.
Adultery is illegal but the Kuwaiti authorities will not get involved in your divorce. The only thing they will care about is whether your visa is still valid after the divorce (which it is not). The affair will not cause you any Sharia legal problems. People have affairs all the time - even in Kuwait.

You do NOT want to get anywhere near Sharia law. The Kuwaiti government is not interested in what your WH is doing with his GF. If they cracked down on adultery, it would reduce the country's population by 2/3's and destroy the service sector industry. Then the Kuwaiti's themselves might actually have to work for a living. No, the consequences are simply unthinkable.

Oh and "jail" is NOT the penalty for adultery in Sharia law. They take the woman and bury her in the sand up to her neck. Then she is stoned until dead and just a tad longer - until nothing is left of the head.
The man does get jail and lashings. Because the lashings are so severe, they have to be given in doses so might take upwards of a year and he is in jail that entire time. Many men don't survive the lashings either but at least they have a chance.
Now you might not think that is fair to the woman. Sharia law is definitely slanted toward the man in these things. No question.
