One might question the sanity of a person who consumes so much infidelity just being on MB period. I donno about sanity ... but time-management, certainly. touche' dear Pep

Congrats on 25 years Pep. Just news of that is an inspiration to keep working for it. I would never have thought to take the kids with us on an anniversary date, but you have planted the seed that might make that a possibility for us also.
You really do give lots of people lots to think about. What I don't understand is how you can be so judgmental of the idiots. Many of us support the wider forums. Many of us have posted our own stories for comment in the wider forums. I think we have all benefited from all of our participation here. It really is not fair to assume that we do not in general attend to our own personal relationships. In fact I for one attend my marriage building responsibilities far better when I am in contact with the other idiots, because they support it. This is not to say that I don't get support from other folks on MB, because I do.
Can't we all just get along?
I really do believe that my chances of one day being where you are would be slim if I had not had all the other idiots in addition to all the non-idiots during my darkest hours. In fact it was the idiots that pressured me to post in the general forums to get a wider sphere of influence, even when all I wanted to do was just curl up in a ball and try to get pity from the idiots. At one point the Idiotville thread name was changed because I wouldn't go outside and play with the others. They brought the others to me.
Addiction to MB has been discussed before and is in no way limited to the idiots. The addiction is real and there isn't a certain "group" that is more or less susceptible to the addiction.
There is no less marriage building going on in Idiotville than there is on the rest of the MB forums. There is no less honesty and evangelism for it then there is on the rest of the MB forums.
Anyway, congrats again and I hope your special day turns out great for your family.

Sometimes I think that spending the amount of time I spend, on the thread I spend all my time on, that I won't name to protect the innocent(poor grammar, anyone?)...is an escape from my real life.
No marriage to work on, but I think it keeps me separate from the people I could be interacting with in real life, the new ones I meet, and the ones I already know.
I think that is the downfall of being on this forum developing such close ties.
Time management, yes...we call it a timer at my house Pep.
And that is my confession for the day.

I only post from work. I am never on the computer at home. And nobody complains about that? Great work ethic too.

Regardless of what you do at work, I bet your boss does not pay you to post on Idiotville. Or am I wrong about that? Is your posting here something you would want your boss to know about? If not, then it is a secret and your relationship with Idiotville is a work-affair. You should come clean with your boss and go NC with IV from work immediately. Do you feel good about receiving money to post on IV? I wouldn't but that's just me.

The boss knows about MB. I post nothing that they don't know about or that I wouldn't feel comfortable telling them.
As for my actual work....it gets done well and in a timely fashion....any extra time is extra time as far as the bosses are concerned.
What would you have me do, scrub the bathroom?
Sorry. Do enough of that at home.

Taking money for posting on MB. And rationalizing it. Maybe if you upped your post count, you could bring that up during your performance review - might even get a raise.
It amazes me that you can't see anything wrong with this picture. On the other hand, my WW, during her A, couldn't see anything wrong with that picture either. Amazing what people can justify.

Offensiveness and judgmentalism as ART...and what a treat for us to have the chance to view (and, apparently, view and view and view) the handiwork of a Master.

Careful. People might think we are having an EA. You really shouldn't have mentioned the pj's.

I am the Princess of Idiotville and the Princess of Caerlon..... So, bow to me and worship me. I don't post from work....but I could be washing dishes if I weren't here. I don't know how to make a hyperling thingy but I can do this. http://www.marriagebuilders.com/ubb...03664&an=0&page=0#703664One difference between Idiotville and Caerlon is that we ignore ignorance in Caerlon. And we don't make you tell us idiot things you have done. Wait, that's two differences. Am I an Idiot or what?

Wait. Is this a trick? If I go to that thread, will this qualify as the second stupid thing I do? "Candy Man" "Candy Man"...
Okay, I'll bite. What do I have to offer in the form of worship?
