I was sitting here thinking that we all have bad days and have to pull ourselves out of them on our own. I was wondering what some of you guys/glas do to lift yourself out of the dumps! Recently, I have a really bad day a few weeks ago, and I left work early, picked up the kids and went to the park and then the movies. I was in a great mood when I got home, although H was not!
So, what do you do? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I made a mental list of the things I enjoy -
reading - take a magazine or book and go the park / river / sea side and enjoy the outdoors - always lifts the spirits
gardening - have small projects going - give me something to concentrate on.
I found, however, that if I make a list of activities that I want to do e.g. create a book list to catch up on, or a list of craft things I want to do, that this can be too daunting on the difficult days. Becomes overwhelming and I just do nothing. So I keep it really simple and just get outdoors when I can.

Melody- I would love to attend Taekwondo with my son, and one day I will, maybe when the YS starts attending! I'll have to come up w/ something! also, how do you know when you're in recovery? It's only been 4 weeks since d-day, but are the signs? If any? Georgina- I'm an arts n' crafts person too. I really love working w/ wood, of course, it really doesn't matter what it is. I had gotten away from it, but I guess I really should pick it up again! I really am at ease when I'm doing something like that! Big stress reliever!
Thanks, i hope to hear some more great ideas from other! Somedays my hands are shaking so bad I really need a stress reliever!!
