Not possible in the UK. I asked for that 'back in the day'.

Dunno about the US bit I can only IMAGINE the size of storge needed to keep billions of texts every day might be prohibitive.

Tried looking in the 'sent' folder on the phone in question ?

Put a keylogger on her PC to get the email account password. Once you have that, have the phone company send the logs and then log into her account and print the logs.

What provider do you have your cell phone service? I wasn't aware that any of the companies offered that (though I'll be honest and hadn't even thought of checking that).

I don't think I'll need that now (though I could have used it a few months ago <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />). Might be handy to have though when DS gets old enough for us to let him have a cell phone.

Snooping - it isn't just for WS's <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'll ask not_so_you_neak to post to you here. She only knows about Nextel, but it's possible with them, at least. I still have, in my possession, a whole envelope full of printed up, often-obscene text messages her husband and his OW sent each other. He never knew, and still doesn't know, that anybody has them, and she's never told me to toss them yet. I do know we had to have his log-in to be able to access them, but once I had that it was easy (and a long time ago, so I don't remember how). But she'll remember.

just thought i would chime in here...my carrier is verizon - i was told the only way to get text message logs was with a court order. If it came down to court proceedings at least you could get them then...i wish i had better news. ALOT of my WW's contact is via text messages...and she always erases them before i could view.
good luck CL

Verizon has a site that you can send text messages from your PC, if you put a keylogger on your PC you can then view what was sent. I did this and saw some of them, it isn't pretty...

Odd. I talked to T-Mobile this afternoon and they said they couldn't do that. Maybe I'll have to try again. (Though it wouldn't be the first time T-Mobile reps can't get stuff right - from what I've read on the web in various places, they're not very good at explaining things beyond the basics). Thanks.

by law and the FCC carriers have to save and archive txt message traffic for security and good old NSA stuff - however you can only retrieve those records just like NSA with a court order. Now I think these records go back pretty far maybe even years but the the rarther back they go the hard it is to get them... I know from one carrier they kept the data onsite for 3 months then sent it away to a secret valute somewhere's and then 9 months later sent it to a cave somewhere's until the G-men told them they could destroy the data... But its possible, I think you also have to be one of the account owner's.... who's name is on the account?

A lawyer could probably get the info for you even if your not on the account, but you have to ask tehm

If you can see it on your computer, you should be able to print it.

One way is to click "File" in the upper left-hand corner of your screen and then select "Print".

You should also be able to copy and paste the text into a word document and print it from there. (Let me know if you haven't done that before.)

One way or the other, you should be able to have a printed record of everything. Good luck.

It is a keylogger for cell phones. Won't get the past but you can see whats going on.
