I noticed this in Kiwi's post this morning and checked it out and it does work.

(I think this is a new feature.)

Just click on WHO'S ONLINE, right under the 'Main Index' and 'Search' area.

Also, below the user names is a list of anonymous users and the threads they are reading.

Not much privacy anymore.
(I guess we can put our names on INVISIBLE if we don't want
others knowing we are logged on, but Oh Well, it is kinda nice seeing who else is here.)

Hmmm, it even shows if you are doing a search or checking who's online.

Kinda wierd.

What does viewing a post in flat mode mean?

I know I didn't comb my hair, but...

HaHa, LovingAnyway.
I haven't a clue what flat mode means.
I guess if they can SEE where we are reading and writing,
you may be right and they can SEE our hair do's!

I had just logged off so had to log back on to reply.

I wonder if it shows us logged on if we leave MB but are
still logged on? (If we disconnect from the computer or go
to another site?)

We need a computer whiz I guess.

We can't check because then we would be logged back in. LOL

I'm trying to figure out how the new feature will be useful. I don't read or make posts based on who I think is on line, so...

Any ideas?

Smiling here.
I could tell 'justjulie' checked for who's online.

Ok, I am outa here; it is almost like being SNOOPY!!!
I am leaving this site for now but not logging off.

Someone let me know if it still shows my name as being
online.

It is 3:57 pm.

Oh Longhorn, I haven't left yet...I just noticed your post.

Know what?
I had seen that you had checked to see who was on line?

I am smiling big here. Like I said, it is like SNOOPING on what others are doing and kinda seems NOT RIGHT!

I see absolutely no need for others to know what we are doing. NONE. So if you or others have an idea, let Longhorn and me know.

But I guess we can put our ID name on invisible if we want.
The thing is, many would not know of that invisible feature.

Ok, NOW I am going to check my email.

Hey, Longhorn!

I don't know what to make of it...I love that IWRA made a thread for it, so we could meet up...I like it, I think.

Have a great weekend, IWRA! Thanks for the heads up.

Longhorn...I dunno. I don't make posts that way, either...but I've checked it four times now that IWRA pointed it out.

LOL!

Okay, fun is fun...but this is really triggering my snooper...

MDC? It showed you were changing your email notifications...and I immediately thought, oh, my...he is cutting off seeing posts to his threads...which then went to...why would he cut me off?

ROFL

Full of assumptions and mindreading...icky. Really icky.

(Although I loved seeing MoiNouvelle's name...wish she posted more)

And Nikko said she was going to be busy planting plants - but instead, she's reading here.

It's easy to put yourself on invisible and also to make what you are seeing private. It's in the My Home section.

I don't choose to be invisible because with my weird time zone I like to let people know when I'm here but I've chosen to make what I'm looking at private.

The "old" MB board always had this feature. I like to know when the people I "talk" with are online.

Believer always freaks me out because she appears out of nowhere. So does Kyellow.

Hi, Jen!

I saw you on...seems like you really started something, mentioning this in a post.

They've had that "do you want to be visible" question in the home part, after I log on, for a long time.

Is this new?

You know, I'm more of a lurker than a poster. I'm not so sure about this! It's cool to check on others...but don't know if I want them checking on me!!!!!
