think I'm having a childhood moment...I grew up in Southern California, and there was a tv show on their called, "Hobo Kelly" that I watched every day.
She was a clown who would put on these huge glasses and look out at the audience of children, and into the camera lense and "see" kids out there...calling out their names...
"And I see Johnny!" and wave "And I see Linda!" "And I see Jimmy!" Me too! Oh gosh you brought back memories! I wanted to have her call my name and crank out all those toys for me. Did you watch Sheriff John too? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Dear FF...
What a lovely thing to know about you and me...yes, you brought back the cranking out of toys...I totally forgot that...
And yes...I would sit on the floor in front of the tv, my arms huggging my bent legs tightly, and wish sooooo hard she would call my name.
And she didn't.
And you wonder why I had a problem with my wishful inner child and feeling invisible all my life?

I don't remember Sheriff John...
I remember being older and living in another state where no one had ever heard of Hobo Kelly...I was stunned.

Do you remember the kid who would draw stuff on the television, and if you had a home kit, you could too? And how much your butt would sting if you drew on the tv with crayons?

My friend had the plastic thing that went over the TV screen so you could "save" him. I wanted one soooo badly. Sheriff John was my hero when I was prekindergarten. He sang "put another candle on your birthday cake..." loved him!
