What would you like to know? I am an open book.

I didn't want to threadjack WTR's thread so I thought you could ask me here.

What is a beautiful recovery?

Not forgetting we( thats my husband and I) have a strong marriage now.

Maybe its just word play. "Beautiful Recovery" is the words I chose to describe our now strong marriage that we both worked hard for.

Sounds like we both have the same thing here...a strong marriage that we both worked hard for = Beautiful Recovery.

I guess I am not sure what you are asking??

Glad

I'm glad you have a strong marriage.

but...there was nothing beautiful about our recovery

some moments were great, some were horrific

some we could live again, others we never want to recall

I guess we have differing perceptions of what beautiful means

Thats OK

Yes, that sounds like the issue here--we have differing perceptions of what beautiful means...

I agree that the recovery PROCESS was full of ups/downs/dips/turns/laughter/heartache/pain/progress/etc.

The RECOVERED STATE of my M is Beautiful.
