Ooooh what a great story! Believer you are AWESOME! Ten out of ten for class.

On the other hand... ten out of ten for the sheer NERVE of the man. He and the OW living with YOU? Augh! Where DO their brains go?

Oh, RT - not living with me - he wanted me to move across the street and live with my sons.

Catgirl - I still don't believe the affair will last. They fight and break up every couple of months. I really think OW will go back to her husband. Sadly, I don't want my husband back.

But the great thing about this place is if you don't recover your marriage, you WILL recover yourself. I'm very happy now, and can hardly remember the bad days.

Hi Believer,
I'm so happy that you've taken so much control in your life. I can just picture the OWH on that harley. What a rush for everyone....

As you know, my FWH's OW is 21 years younger, which is considerable given that I'm 41 and he's 43. I firmly believe there is no contant anymore, so no need for two by fours to Toolman for contact. We just CAN'T seem to get over that hump, though.

I'll never have the bod of a 21 year old, and I'll always know that the last woman he's been with, for multiple times, was this young thing. I cannot EVER compete with that, even if he says it's not a big deal to him.

I remember what I looked like when I was 21, and I'll tell ya what, a 41 year old woman would not have been able to compete physically. Emotionally? I would have lost badly, but FWH puts the BIGGEST EN EMPHASIS ON PHYSICAL attractiveness. Something that I'll never have, compared to where I was.

Yesterday, I ran on the treadmill for 30 mins, and the elliptical trainer for another 30. Covered over 6 miles in one hour. Yep, I'm fit, but compared to where I was when I was 21, I'll never be the same physically. Guess I need to really start deciding if it's time to find someone who will appreciate me for what I am.

Believer, your story is so inspirational to many of us. I'm so happy you've chosen to share. It has helped me immensely.

Ah - OK. But ACROSS THE STREET? Also nutty! It would have suited her, as well, seeing as her BH and daughter would be next door, no? Oh, I can just imagine them both coming up with that BRILLIANT idea.
