Hi newly,
You asked about flooding here. We've made out quite well compared to those in PA. Sounds like PA got hammered with flooding all over the place.
The NW part of the state got hit harder than we did though it's hard to imagine the way the rain just kept coming in buckets arounds here.
I had a little bit of an overflow septic scare but since the rain stopped that's quited down. I hope that doesn't rear it's ugly head.
The house smells musty but that's not too unusual this time of year. Mush better than smelling of spetic overflow.
Hope you made out OK.

Glad to hear that you weren't in the flood areas.
I haven't driven down to the river to see the damage, but some people have been flooded out 3 times in 2 years. I saw the NYC news and areas I know were on it this time. They hadn't seen water in 30 years in some areas. I was surprised at how quickly the water rose around my car, when I had never been caught in water before, nor expected it. And it was bizarre to watch people driving through it.
I empty my basement dehumidifier twice a day to keep the water at bay, and I'm on a hill which should mean it would runoff. Everything around is soaked, as are people's dispositions. I think the sun is shining today which is something we all need to see.
