No, not a farewell post !

Just wanted to tell you that..
I learned that…
there are a lot of caring, sensible, wonderful people out here.
I sometimes think of all of you, sitting at your PC’s , literally all over the world.. pondering over a reply to the post of a total stranger… taking your time to carefully phrase what you think might help this same total stranger.
And I would just like to thank you all.

And on the light side, on this sunny day...
I also learned that….
- denial is not a river in Egypt
- a 2x4 is not someone mistyping four wheel drive (haha)
- CA is not only a country code or state code !!
- posting from Europe on a US board makes my birthday last a lot longer !

Who are you calling a silly foreigner, Mel? Moi? Ikke?
Hmmm..
I'm afraid you'll have to be striken of my list of "notify of impending end of earth", then... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

And by the way, most Americans (except for the native ones) are decendants of silly foreigners... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

All my ancestors are silly foreigners, except the very few Cherokee Indian ones. I used to think I was special until I found out that basically everyone in the US is part Cherokee. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

But I married a Native American, so that has to count for something!

HaHaHa...Mr. W thought "LOL" meant "Lots O' Love" for the longest time...Til this day, if he's reading aloud to me, he still says it like that...it's truly endearing... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hey, I thought it was only us Southerners who were part Cherokee!!! You "silly left coasters" too, Neak? I am 1/16 Cherokee...People can always tell too, because I have blonde hair and green eyes-I look SOOOO...Very Native American...NOT!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Oh yeah... I just got a peek at one of your newspapers !

Hey Brownhair, you better not be talkin' about the "Silly Left Coaster Gazette" featuring Pepperband, because THAT was made by me...A die hard GEORGIAN...I'M SO NOT A TEXAN, thank you very much! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Now, bein' a "Georgia Peach" does make me, "American by birth, and Southern by the Grace of God", of course...But a Texan? Now, that's just plain SIL-LEE!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Sorry, almost all left-coasters are part Cherokee, too. I am about 1/32.

I look way more native than you do, but only because a large chunk of my ancestors are from Portugal.
