"Here Today" is a book by Ann M. Martin that I just coincidentally purchased and started reading to my DD6 a few weeks ago. I noticed the authors name one night after someone here asked about publishing books and included your name as someone they believed to be a published author.
If it were you, you would have known what I was talking about without me "outing" you completely against your will.
Sorry for the confusion. The author is about your age but I'm sure A.M.Martin is a pretty common name.

p.s.- my dd6 loves the book though I've had to edit out or as Melody says "censor" some of the ethic slurs used in the dialogue as well as some more mature subject matter. Wish they had a rating system on books as I wouldn't want my 8 year old daughter reading this book on her own.

I wasted so much time trying to figure it out based upon the Authors notes contained in the book and your posts. Her birthday is listed and I tried to match up the dates to see if it was you by using the search feature.
