Hi everyone! Haven't posted in a few weeks, I was ging through my emotional meltdown - I think the sun/stars/moon were lined up in such a way a few weeks ago that I turned into an emotional moron....I digress....

I just celebrated the one year anniversary of my relationship with my boyfriend, a fellow that I was set up with by a friend who insisted that it was time I "get out" after my divorce (I hadn't dated seriously for 1 1/2 years after my divorce).....

This is a BIGGIE for me - as I swore up and down and sideways that I would NEVER, ever, ever ad nauseum get involved in any type of long term relationship again after my awful marriage. I was bitter to the core...

Flash forward - my relationship is awesome - he's pretty much everything I want in a companion......(although he doesn't look like George Clooney, I forgave him for that a long time ago). We do not talk of marriage, forever, etc., we just enjoy our relationship, and it seems to get better every day.

With nervousness, we both exchanged "I Love You's" several times - and I do love him - don't know what will happen in the future, I've stopped obsessing over it. I vow to take each day as it comes and ENJOY!

Thanks for letting me share - I'm so excited that I'm well on my way back to "Normal" after the disaster I call my marriage!

Very happy for you, it sounds like you are looking at this relationship the right way. Congratulations on allowing somebody into your life- I know that's hard.
