Ahem, New Zealand and Australia are both downunder but we are two very separate countries. Australia is a big island (continent if you believe BigK) and New Zealand is two long skinny islands. We are separated by the Tasman Sea, commonly called The Ditch. I'm bringing the skyy vodka...lmao.
and am from W tN originally..now in gaw ga...and will bring the one bowl famous "peach's spicy spinach and artichoke dip"...
1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
1 lb pepper jack cheese cut into tiny cubes or pieces
worchestire sauce (you taste it and decide)
1 chopped vidalia onion
1 drained and chopped small jar of artichokes marinated
garlic salt to taste
thaw the spinach in microwave. place spinach thawed into micro friendly dish. add jack cheese and remaining ingredients except the worchestire and the garlic salt. set timer for 3 minute intervals. stir every three minutes until cheese is melted and mix well. after first three minutes, add worchestire to taste. add some garlic salt to taste. remember..do as my grandma says "it's easier to remember to add a little at a time b/c you can't take it out if you put in too much!".
After usually six min. in microwave, it's ready. Tastes amazing! great w/taco chips and fresh salsa and sour cream!
the vidalia onion is from VIDALIA GA!
and toast yourself with some skyy.

well you can all come over to Australia and put a prawn on the barbie and drink beer, wine and cool drinks like Coke & Bundy and Irish Whiskey with extra peat, sorry I mean a double Irish, or Vodka mixes, or even , "groan" wine coolers <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> We can go right out in the outback where the dingoes howl, the roo's are plenty and the Croc's are lookin for the next meal, might just skip the last though. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> We can cook, steaks, snags ( Sausages - beef, pork, chicken, emu, roo and croc), lamb chops, fish ( Barramundi is so yum), have salads galore, potatoes wrapped in foil in the coals with a dob of butter and lots of sauces as you want. Unfortunately its our winter and its pretty cool here at 71.6 F ... might have to wait until the flies are out and the sun is warmer in a week or two <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> then you can give the great Australian wave and wear zinc cream over your nose and wear sunnies and a hat... oh and wear an old T shirt as its not a BBQ unless you spill a lot down the front on your shirt when your paper plate gets all soggy and falls apart. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately its our winter and its pretty cool here at 71.6 F ... Aaaaaah... I'm coming over ! We have been having a heat wave here in Belgium ALL month (I'm sure it's a new record!). While in America most homes/shops have airco.. we don't.. and I would love to be 71.6 F and finally have a good night's sleep without waking up with a headache from the heat !!! OK, L - I'm fixin to cook a chicken on the rotisserie this afternoon.
I use a rub that contains the usual suspects. No other cooking ingredients.
Roasted pineapple and habanero dip on the table.
Any suggestions for improvements?
