My W?xH is talking to me about reconciliation and being together again. I've done a lot of praying, and I feel like God is asking me to go forward with reconciliation, athough I don't see how it's possible sometimes. The primary obstacle is that my xH blames his adultery and the failure of our marriage on me and he remains very angry for anything I did wrong from the time we first started dating. He is also still defending the OW (and no, I don't bring her up or attack her, he brings it up and I just listen), although I realize it is common for a WS to defend the OP for a long time.

Please pray that, if it's God's will, my heart and my H's heart would be softened with love & forgiveness, that we would be protected from outside temptations and that we would be restored to God, each other and our marriage.

Thank you

neverthesame - your husband needs a "changed heart." His position, as you have described, is NOT one of someone who has been "convicted" of their sin and turned to God for forgiveness.

So my prayer will be for the conviction of God to be upon him so that he will surrender in humble obedience to God's commands.

Until he does, I would strongly caution you against beginning a new relationship, much less a marriage, with him.

"Do not be unevenly yoked together."

God bless.

Thank you, ForeverHers. Apart from our relationship/marriage, I feel like I'm in a battle for his soul, so I need all the prayer for him that I can get.

I for pray for a hedge of protection around him against evil and temptation, I also pray for his heart to be convicted and for God to do whatever is necessary to bring him (back?) to be a child of God.

Thank you for your help.
